Health Economic Evaluation

We provide argumentative support in price negotiations for DiGA/DiPA or evaluation during the contract period for selective contracts (important for continuation and, if necessary, scaling of the contract to additional contract partners) as well as to other relevant stakeholders.

Key questions answered

Digital health solutions manufacturer

Survey of economic effects within a planned clinical trial or as a stand-alone module (especially for selective contracts): What savings/additional costs does the implementation of the digital solution/care innovation generate?

First, a workshop focuses on the preparation of the health economic evaluation, if necessary based on the developed health care concept and health economic modeling. Together, questions, analysis methods and necessary parameters are developed here. Then, using the workshop results, the health economic evaluation is conducted and potential savings and incremental costs of the intervention/care innovation are examined (e.g., budget impact analysis, cost-effectiveness analysis, cost-utility analysis, and changes in health care utilization). The cost and benefit data are collected in a “piggy-back approach” to already planned clinical trials (more interesting for manufacturers) or as a stand-alone service (e.g. with evaluation of routine data from payers). The result is recorded in the form of a written elaboration (continuous text) and made available to you.

For manufacturers: You receive argumentative support in price negotiations for DiGA/DiPA or evaluation during the contract period for selective contracts (important for continuation and, if necessary, scaling of the contract to additional contract partners) as well as for other relevant stakeholders.

For funding agencies: evaluation during the contract period for selective contracts as to whether they will be continued, evaluation of routine data together with self-collected data on the effectiveness of interventions, cooperation within the framework of research projects (especially Innovation Fund projects).

We act as a one-stop store for market access and reimbursement for digital health solutions. We provide knowledge transfer and consulting services specifically tailored to digital health solutions, especially in the areas of DiGA, DiPA and selective contracting.
