Working Student (m/f/d) – 20 Hours/Week

The Medical Valley Digital Health Application Center (dmac) advises manufacturers of digital health innovations on all relevant issues relating to the German healthcare market and helps identify opportunities, understand requirements, connect with industry stakeholders, and choose the most promising market access strategy and best reimbursement path for each healthcare solution.

In addition, dmac offers clinical research services that focus on evidence generation and include all the services of a digital study center – from patient recruitment and patient management to data collection and analysis. Also part of the service portfolio: market and potential analyses as well as health economic evaluations.

Your Profile

  • You are nearing the end of your bachelor’s degree or about to start your master’s degree in the fields of health sciences, social sciences, health economics, digital health, medical process management, health services research or similar
  • You enjoy scientific work with a focus on research activities and ideally have already gained some experience in this field during your studies
  • You are interested in digitalization in the healthcare sector and in the market access of digital medical products
  • You have a basic knowledge of the German healthcare system
  • You are curious, have a high learning ability, can switch flexibly between different projects and are able to quickly familiarize yourself with different, sometimes complex, areas of responsibility
  • You are proactive and solution-oriented, have good self-organization skills, work carefully and independently, but at the same time are a real team player
  • You have a good command of spoken and written English and very good MS Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Willingness to participate in face-to-face meetings (e.g. customer workshops) in Bamberg by arrangement

Your Tasks

  • You will be involved in project tasks and flexibly support various projects
  • You will independently conduct literature research on healthcare topics
  • You prepare customer workshops and participate in them together with our project managers
  • You will work with us on project tasks that are essential for on-time delivery
  • You keep track of current events in the digital health space (DiGA, DiPA, DTx)
